Michael Oved Dayan

Born in Vancouver, director and producer Michael Oved Dayan holds a PhD in Communication Studies from McGill University and additional degrees from Columbia University and the University of Toronto. Michael has taught courses in mass media theory and history, published on themes of identity and documentary film, and is the recipient of both scholarly and directorial awards. Michael seeks to create films that explore autobiographical memory and identity in relation to themes of power, intimacy, creativity, and redemption within our daily lives.

Douglas Hauer-Gilad

Born and raised in the US, producer Doug Hauer-Gilad is a lawyer in Boston, where he practices US immigration law. Doug has graduate degrees from the University of Chicago and Harvard University. He is fluent in German and Hebrew and has lived for extended periods in Germany, Israel, and Moscow. Doug has interviewed writers for documentary film and is interested in creating documentaries that explore complex questions of identity, society and culture.
